MMI CLIENT DREW STAVELEY LANDS IN THE DRIVERS SEAT.

Drew Stavely was recently asked to fill a vacant seat for the Racers Edge Pontiac GXP.R car competing in last weekend's Rolex Grand-Am road racing series held in Monterey. Drew brought the Racers Edge Pontiac from 8th to finish 5th impressing the team and sponsors enough that he will be driving again in the Memorial Day weekend Rolex Grand-Am held at Lime Rock, Connecticut.

The new site features an expanded and easier to use catalog section, dealer locator, a product guide (that can be downloaded), factory closeouts, and a showcase of McLeod's customer vehicles.

MMI CLIENT B&M RACING ACQUIRES HURST SHIFTER.

 Nate Shelton, chairman of the B&M Companies, announced the acquisition of the Hurst Shifter Division, a Mr. Gasket, Inc. brand since 1987.

Hurst is a leading manufacturer of performance and racing shifters for the manual and automatic transmission markets. Known as “America’s Number 1 Shifter Company,” Hurst has been the OEM supplier of performance shifters since the 1960s, and in more recent years, has been offered “Hurst” branded factory packages. Hurst also offers a wide range of shifter accessories and a rebuild program for early classics outfitted with original Hurst shifters.

According to a statement released by the company, both Mr. Gasket and B&M are committed to making the transition of the Hurst brand to B&M as smooth, and seamless, as possible, with minimal disruption to business. B&M Racing & Performance Products is located in Chatsworth, California, in the racing and performance automatic transmission and shifter market since 1953.

The lineup from B&M Companies now includes B&M Racing & Performance Products, McLeod Industries and Hurst Performance Products, quite a dynamic group with more than 125 years of automotive performance history.

Marketing Matters, Inc. (MMI) has signed a contract to develop advertising and marketing campaigns for Save the World Air, Inc. ("STWA"). STWA develops, markets, and distributes devices that reduce harmful emissions caused by internal combustion engines. SEMA NETWORKING PAYS AGAIN AS MARKETING MATTERS, INC. IS SELECTED AS MCLEOD INDUSTRIES’ NEW ADVERTISING AGENCY.

Marketing Matters, Inc. (MMI) has exciting plans to expand McLEODs market share—starting with the launch of McLEODs new
MMI designed website that made its debut on June 19, 2006 and is scheduled to be completed with McLEOD's full catalog line-up in July.

MARKETING MATTERS, INC. EXTENDS SUMMER INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY TO BYU-IDAHO STUDENT.

MMI welcomed Lindsay Hymas to their team in May 2006. Lindsay will be fulfilling an internship for three months as a Market Research Assistant, before she heads back to Brigham Young University-Idaho in the fall.

MMI HELPS GLOBAL WEST SUSPENSIONS WITH TARGET AUDIENCES WHILE REDUCING COST OF SALES

MMI designed and produced 5-targeted 12 page brochures for Global West Suspension (GWS). This allows GWS to save money by sending the new brochure to individual retail buyers, rather than GWS’s 140 pagefull-line catalog, while still enabling that same buyer to review and order all the components they want for their specific vehicle.Additionally, it allows GWS jobbers who specialize in specific or single manufacturer lines, i.e., Ford, to present sales collateral materials targeted to their customers.

Marketing Matters Inc. has begun work on a series of awards for presentation to employees of Transwestern Commercial Services. Tranwestern specializes in high-end commercial realty, and has worked in collaboration with MMI on a number of publicity campaigns regarding successful transactions and projects the company has undertaken.

LAUGHLIN INTERNATIONAL RALLY AND MOTORSPORTS FESTIVAL CHOOSES MARKETING MATTERS INC.

MMI is now the agency of record for the organizers of the Laughlin International Rally and Motorsports Festival, to be held in Laughlin, Nevada the weekend of November 9-12, 2006, and presented by American Rally Sport Group. This event has a rich history, and has grown steadily as the sport of rally racing has gained an international following.

PEARSON PRENTICE HALL UTILIZES MMI FOR ITS NEW SALES REPRESENTATIVE OUTREACH PROGRAM

MMI has undertaken a New Sales Representative Outreach Program for educational publisher Pearson Prentice Hall. This project involved the introduction and promotion of the services of PPH sales reps through a variety of media in order to create and maintain strong relationships with their educational clients.

MARKETING MATTERS INC. DEVELOPING LAUNCH OF BOOMER MAGAZINE

Boomer Magazine, a new lifestyle magazine for active baby boomers, and published by MediaSource International, publishers of such magazines as Mazda Sport and Cruiser Quarterly, is launching in the fall of 2006. Marketing Matters has produced samples of Boomer for insertion into other MediaSource International publications, the first of which appeared in the Winter 2006 issue of Cruiser Quarterly. Marketing Matters is presently developing a website for Boomer, which will be online shortly.

MARKETING MATTERS INC. BEGINS BRANDING CAMPAIGN FOR ARMS PRECISION, INC.

MMI has begun a new branding campaign for ARMS Precision, Inc., a precision machining and balancing shop servicing aerospace, military and high-end commercial clientele. ARMS holds a special advantage in their field as a one-stop shop for machining and balancing of precision parts, while most shops handle either one or the other of these services. MMI has provided logo design, and is currently preparing media materials for distribution by ARMS.

Marketing Matters Inc. has begun work on a series of ads for Advanced Flow Engineering (aFe). AFE produces air induction systems and filters for the automotive aftermarket. Our first campaign will highlight their line of diesel induction systems.
